Online Private SAT Tutors in Dubai
Why is the SAT important?
The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is a standardised test taken by students applying for universities in the United States. Administered by the College Board, the SAT is computer-based and multiple-choice. It is a critical part of the U.S. application process for all candidates from Dubai and the UAE.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many universities deemed the SAT test-optional, though this is no longer the case. The most competitive universities will utilise SAT scores, with some of the most prestigious institutions such as MIT, Yale, Dartmouth, and Brown, returning to requiring either the SAT or the ACT. For applicants from Dubai and the UAE, a strong SAT score is an essential component of their application, and high achievers will improve their chances of university admission.
