Parents planning to send their kids off to boarding schools in the United States will be familiar with the SSAT. It is similar to the SAT in that it is standardised, and it is consequently a considerable challenge for students to score highly. Without tutoring, high performers are still at risk of a measly 75% in this challenging test. The designers of the SSAT admit as much in their official materials: the SSAT tests knowledge acquired in school as well as outside the classroom.

What is the best way to prepare for the SSAT?
